I used this mold to make a chocolate cake today! I made a batch of chocolate cake (from a box, but don't judge!) put it in the oven at 325' for about 40 minutes. The cake came out perfectly - it baked even and came out of the pan really easily. It may have been the easiest cake baking experience I've ever had! Now I want to replace all of my pans with silicone!
Here's what my heart cake looked like prior to icing! I think it came out pretty nicely! Now that I think of it... this would be really good for brownies too! I am just starting a Wilton cake decorating class so I can't wait to practice with this and make something extra special for Valentines Day!
Buy it: Silicone Zone products can be purchased from SiliconeZone.com and are also available on sites such as Amazon.com.This particular pan retails for $20.
