I never really thought about my skin until the last couple of years. Sure, I'm religious about washing my face twice a day but I never really thought about moisturizing or using toner. But then I started noticing sun spots... yes all those years of beach time are slowly creeping up on me... so when SheSpeaks & Lancome asked me to partner with them to try out Lancome Dream Tone, you better believe this beach babe was signing on.
About LancĂ´me DreamTone: DreamTone is the next generation in dark spot correction. This customized skin tone correcting serum is so powerful, 72% of women dare to bare their skin.* The new DreamTone is 3 barely-tinted serums formulated to visibly correct dark spots, color imperfections and give you a more even-looking skin tone. It comes in 3 serums customized for your skin tone: 1- Fair, 2 – Medium, 3 – Dark.
I have used Lancome everyday, twice a day for about a month now. I put it on after I wash my face and before moisturizer. I have medium/olive skin, so I went with the #2 shade (medium.) I really like DreamTone - it goes on smoothly and absorbs well. It is not greasy, and it has sort of small, sparkly pigments in the serum. I feel like my skin really looks fresh - and I have noticed I don't zero in on my sunspots anymore when I'm looking in the mirror anymore. This product feels very high end, the bottle is very fancy looking and dispenses very easily.
As part of my participation in this program, I promised to post a #bareselfie. This is not easy for me as it is a very rare occasion for me to be seen without makeup... however a promise is a promise so here goes:
This product is 1.3 oz and retails for about $98. As much as I LOVE this product, I myself, know I could not bare to spend $98 on it. That's just me and my frugal ways . However, this product is really amazing and if you have money in your budget to spend on skincare, I highly recommend you try this product!
