I love my crock pot. Chili or beef stew is great on a chilly night.

I love to put a whole chicken in the crock pot let it cook while I'm at work. Easy and healthy!

I just put chicken breast in it all day and then dump BBQ sauce on it to make pulled chicken for sandwiches!

I don't really follow recipes. But there is this old recipe my dad and I used for chili.
You use Brooks hot and mild chili mix, ground beef, A1 steak sauce, a touch of beer, Onion and of course salt, pepper, chili powder.
Cook the ground beef with chopped onion and when it is mostly cooked add a splash of A1 and Beer, cook it into the beef, put the beef, beans, onion, and seasoning in the crock pot and put it on low for at least 4 hours but more is better.

It's fun to expand this recipe. You can put in chopped green pepper, jalapeno, or spicy seasonings to change it up. If you like sweeter chili, opting for the bold and spicy A1 sauce or a bbq sauce can change it completely. Sadly you can't make it on a stovetop! it is extremely thick and will almost always burn.

We usually serve it in a chili crock with some chopped fresh onion and cheese on top, and tortilla chips on the side. A dab of salsa on top goes nice too...

My favorite crock pot recipe is to simply pour a can of regular Coke over a roast, and then cook it as usual in the crock pot. The Coke tenderizes the meat and leaves a nice flavor.

chicken breasts, fresh snow peas, carrots, celery, white onion, broccoli, and chicken broth. Cut all ingredients into the size you desire (just chop em up a little) and put in crock pot. Let cook for 4 hours on high. Serve over rice.

I like to put chicken in my crockpot with a bottle of our favorite local BBQ sauce. When it's done cooking I take the chicken out and then reduce the sauce in a frying pan until it's more glaze-like. Then serve that over the chicken.

I like to just mix meats, soups and spices into the crockpot and see what comes out =)

My favorite crock-pot recipe is pork chops. Peel and cut potatoes and carrots and place in bottom 1/2 of crock-pot. Crush saltine crackers and mix with rosemary, thyme, sage and pepper (generous amounts of all spices). Dip each pork chop in a beaten egg, then in the cracker/spice mix and brown on each side in a frying pan on the stove. When browned and slightly crispy on each side, place in crock-pot on top of vegetables. Cover with sliced onions and pour 1-2 cups beef broth over the top. Cook on low for 7 hours. Dinner is served!

My family and I made my own Chicken Noodle & Vegetable Soup.

We cooked up chicken, chopped it into cubes, and set it aside. Then, in the pan we cooked the chicken, I added a couple of Tablespoons of olive oil. I chopped an onion and 3 cloves of garlic, then sauteed them in the oil.

After that, we chopped up 3 carrots, 3 stalks of celery, a small zucchini or two, and a couple of peeled potatoes.

We then added all the above ingredients to a crock pot, along with 3 cans of chicken broth, salt, pepper, and some favorite spices. This all simmered on high for about 3 hours.

After that, we added a can of mixed vegetables and a can of green beans, then returned the lid, and allowed the soup to continue to simmer.

While simmering, we cooked up about 3 cups of rotini pasta (gluten free quinoa pasta was delicious!), and added that to the soup...Voila, done!

DELICIOUS!

I actually don't use my crockpot, but my husband does! He makes pulled pork, using pork, onions, garlic, and seasonings.

Also sometimes he makes meatballs and we keep it warm in marinara sauce for parties.
