Major Produce Shopping!

This is what happens when you read fitness magazines before going to the grocery store... :) Also, DH is trying out (green) "juicing". Believe it or not, this was the first time I've ever bought Kale! Anyone have any good recipes?

I love kale.. Here is one simple recipe.

Chop the kale into small pieces.
Wash and spin it through the salad spinner. Pour a little oil in a 10 or 12" fry pan. Add a half tablespoon of mustard seeds(optional), 1 red chilli or a little chilli flakes, add the kale, a little salt and steam it a little. After it wilts down, remove the cover and add dried unsweeted coconut and let it dry out all the way through. Enjoy.

Oh Kale! How yummy! I like to cook it in a cast iron pan with some water and a little raw honey till leaves soft and pliable...mmmm

Word of warning: buy organic. It is one of the dirty dozen (foods that retain the most pesticides)
