What can you buy for $2.33? (Big Y Edition)

I was short on time this trip, so I only used one of my Big Y dollar doubler coupons. I'm hoping to get back there tonight!

  • 2 - Hood Sour Cream (@ $1.99 ea) used $.50/1 IP (doubled) = $.99
  • 3 - Reese's Dark Chocolate PB Cups (@ $.99, B2G1Free) used three $.55/1 mfcs doubled to price = FREE (-$.99)!
  • 1 -Box of Tampax Pearl Tampons (clearanced @ $2.34 ea) used $2/1= $.34
  • 1 - Roll of Marcal TP (@ $.89) used free item coupon = FREE!
  • 1 -Half Gallon of Valio Lactose Free Milk (@ $3.99 ea) used $1/1 MFC and doubler= $1.99
Total: $2.33

Total remaining in May 2010 Budget: $87.64

Have you been using the $2 marcal-4 pack or larger coupon? I have been getting the 4 pack of toilet paper at Big Y along with my free single roll. The 4 packs are priced a $1.59. (I do frequently get the cashier telling me they can't use both, but they always back down when I point out one is for free single roll and one is for a four pack, different product, different coupon!)
