Shopping Without Coupons

Believe it or not, I do buy certain things without coupons... typically when I'm in a rush :) A quick stop at some of my favorite discount stores:

Price Rite (Discount Grocer):
  • .6 lbs of green beans ($.99/lb) = $.59
  • 1 - Cucumber (@ 3/$1) = $.33
  • 1 - Package of Biscuits = $.38
  • 1 - International Delight Creamer = $.99
  • 1lb of Hormel Bacon = $1.99
Total: $4.28

And then I ran into Family Dollar (my favorite for last minute cleaning products!!!) and bought some FD brand dishwasher detergent:
  • 1 - Bottle of FD Brand Dishwasher Detergent = $3.00
Total: $3.19

*Total remaining in May 2010 budget: $112.63

2 gave me some sugar:

almost all my grocery shopping is at Grocery Outlet. I usually save 80-100% and no time with coupons are involved. It's got to be a good deal for me to go to the grocery - there are some items they usually don't have - brown rice, nutrional pasta but everything else is a great deal!

It can happen! People think that if you usually shop with coupons, you will never shop with out them. It shows that we aren't 100% frugal. LOL
