Cheap Chips & Pepsi @ CVS!

My transaction was a little wonky - but it all came out in the end!
  • 2 - Pepsi 12 Packs (@ $3.33 & $3.34 ea) = $6.67
  • - Bottle Deposit 24 cans x $.05 = $1.20
  • 1 - Lays Classic (@ $3.50)used $1/1 (homemailer) = $2.50
  • 1 - Tostitos Restaurant Style (@ $3.50) = $3.50
  • 1 - Tostitos Scoops (@ $3.99*) = $3.99
  • 1 - Tostitos Salsa (@ $2.99, used free wyb 2 Tostitos Coupon - found at Stop & Shop)= FREE (& counts toward the Pepsi deal. (Salsa only) See shelf tag!)
  • 2 - Oust (@ $3.99 ea, get 3 ECB ea) used B1G1 Free MFC = $3.99
Total: $21.85 + $.05 tax = $21.90. Paid with $12 ECB, $6 ECB, and $.90 on gift card

Received $10 ECB for buying $20 of Pepsi/Frito-Lay & 6 ECB for buying two Oust

*Buying the Scoops messed up my transaction because not only did they ring up higher, but they apparently don't work for the deal. My cashier manually printed my ECBs - but I didn't figure out why the deal didn't work until I got home.

My Frito Lay/Pepsi deal "cost" me: $6.66 (Spent $16.66 in ECBs and received $10 back) Not bad!

3 gave me some sugar:

That's really cool that they would manually print the ECBs for you! Do you not live close enough to the RI border to get the soda (and other stuff) w/o paying the deposits? I'm lucky in that I work in RI. ANd because I live in CT I redeem them there (sneaky I know ;) )

Yeah I'm pretty far from RI! It's over an hour from here. :-/

Ooooh, I wish I lived near NH! I hate that damn .05 cent deposit, lol. I bought 6 packs of soda and paid $7 OOP after my ECBs...I had to pay $3.60 for the can deposits, craziness, I tell you!
