Cool New Product: ScarAway!

Have a scar that you wish would go away? I know I do! Check out this cool new product: ScarAway™ Silicone Scar Sheets. It's an effective new over-the-counter solution that uses patented Silon® technology. Previously only available through hospitals, burn centers and plastic surgery offices, this professional grade silicone sheeting sets a new standard in non-invasive, drug-free, at home scar reduction and prevention.
  • This product is an affective, affordable treatment to reduce and prevent hypertrophic (raised), red, discolored and keloid scars that may result from surgery, injuries, or burns. Unlike scar minimizing creams and ointments, ScarAway delivers pressure directly to the scar to help diminish its appearance.
  • It's non-greasy; won’t stick to or stain clothing; ultra-thin, flexible, breathable, and durable; unique soft opaque backing “conceals while it heals.”
  • Scars may feel softer in just a few days, with visible results in just weeks. Optimal results are achieved in about 12 weeks.
  • Each sheet lasts approximately one week; remove while bathing or showering and keep in convenient storage case that comes with kit.
  • ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets box of 12 standard size sheets: $29.99
  • ScarAway LONG Silicone Scar Sheets (specially sized for scars resulting from surgeries such as tummy tucks and Caesarean sections; click “order” at myscaraway.com to view) ; box of 12: $59.99.
  • ScarAway 100% Silicone Gel Serum for exposed or hard to treat areas like face, scalp and ears, .5 oz bottle: $24.99
Available at www.drugstore.com, www.amazon.com and www.myscaraway.com

This product looks great! I have a scar on my arm that I'd love to lose. As funny as the story behind it is, I'd gladly get rid of it!

Have a scar or funny story about a scar? Have you used other products in the past that have worked or haven't worked? Please let me know!

I have 2 6 inch scars on my knees, from reconstructive surgeries. I'd love to get them less noticeable, so that I don't feel so self conscious when I wear shorts, or skirts or dresses...I wonder if this stuff really works...doesn't seem to expensive either...I'm intrigued.

I used ScarAway strips on my C-section scar and was thrilled with my results. I had a thick red scar that smoothed and flattened tremendously. I also have used for a cut and my mom for her heart surgery scar. Truly amazed with this item. I discovered it when I went to my doctor to look into surgery for a c-section scar that had been really red and horrible for years. She suggested I try this product before proceeding to scar revision surgery. My scar is now flat and very faint color...barely visible. Glad to learn of this item....it was easy to use and I left mine on for days at a time. Thin and comfortable. Great item. If your scars other you, definitely do something about it. I am so glad I did! Best, Lori
