Review: Pencil Me In Cosmetics!

When it comes to makeup I am all about the eyes - specifically, all about the eyeliner. I've been rocking a cat eye since... well, my early dance recital days. (Haha, you think I'm kidding...)
Melissa, my best friend since high school, can attest to my skill of putting on eyeliner (pencil or liquid) in a moving vehicle (with or without her father swerving.) Sure, it can be a little difficult to get the right angle and right thickness but to me, there's just something extra glamorous about a little va-va-voom above your lashes.

So, you better believe I was ELATED when Pencil Me In Cosmetics sent me some of their awesome eyeliners to try out! The first color I tried was Boysenberry, which is in my opinion, the perfect purple shade. (Brunettes, I'm sure you know about that elusive perfect purple eyeshadow color? It's THIS purple!) I've tried to buy purple eyeliner before, but have had a hard time getting the right hue and coverage. Ever bought one? It's hard not to end up with a light purple color, no matter how many applications you put on. Two words for you brunettes: Boysenberry rocks!

The second color I tried was Onyx which has become my new old faithful. I wear a little bit of black eyeliner almost everyday and this is the perfect shade. No snags, no flakes, and it lasts all day - no need to reapply. And with a little smudging, this shade helps create the perfect smokey eye for a night out!

My third and favorite color was Jet Sparks! This shade combines the perfect black eyeliner with just a touch of glitter. Fabulous!!! You can also smudge this one, but for me, I just like to use a little line over some fun shadow. Easy to put on, but looks like you put in a lot more effort-- loves it!
