I don't know about you, but when it comes to a swim suit, I look for two things: quality AND fit. I have gone through my share of cheapo swim suits and I will tell you, it is worth paying a little more for a better suit. (Yes, even us frugal gals have our splurges and that doesn't mean you can't get a deal on a quality suit!) We live a good two hours from the beach, but you better believe I'll be rocking this suit at the pool all summer, (and whenever I get the chance to get to the beach!)
About the suit:
I was very excited when Layers Clothing sent me the Babette to try! The swim suit is a tankini, which is one of my favorite types of bathing suits for water sports! (And by water sports I mean floating on a tube down the Deerfield River with a cold beverage!)
The fabric is a cute geometric print in brown and turquoise. The top is a halter with cute little ruffles all around the neckline - it's comfortable and supportive while still giving 'the girls' a nice view. The top even has removable bra pads! The bottom is a bikini with a foldover flap and it's fully lined and fits without gaps or bumps.
