Giveaway and Review: Eco Tools 5 Piece Brush Set! (CLOSED)

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a makeup junkie. And as most makeup addicts know, having the right makeup (and tools) makes all the difference. So throw away that blush brush you've had since 7th grade and check out Eco Tools!!! :)

I was recently given some samples of the new Eco Tools line and I was amazed at how soft the brushes were! And they didn't tangle or leave behind pieces like my old brushes did. They are made from animal-free taklon (synthetic hair) bristles and the handles are made from bamboo!

My favorite product was the Recycled Aluminum Retractable Kabuki Brush ($7.99) pictured below. It worked especially well with my powder foundation and picked up just the right amount. It gave me a natural finish on the first try! Eco Tools can be found at Walgreens, (Great way to use those Walgreen's Register Rewards!) Kmart or Ulta stores or Eco-tools.com!

Eco Tools is giving away a 5 piece Eco Tool brush set (pictured at left) to one lucky Frugal and Fabulous Reader! This pint size set has all of the necessary survival tools for any adventure. :)

"The entire cosmetic accessory collection features innovative earth friendly materials which make everyday beauty routines a little greener. The brushes and sets are housed in reusable pouches and printed with non toxic ink, utilizing resources that minimize the negative impact on the environment. ... Eco Tools has joined with 1% for the Planet and donates 1% of their annual sales to environmental organizations that create a healthier place to live."

Want to this fabulous brush set?!

I would really, really love the Bamboo Powder Brush. My powder brush is just a nub now since the handle broke off well over a year ago. However, I'm ashamed to say that I've probably had this sad little set for well over a decade....what can I say, I stick to what I know. Can't even imaging how many little face germies are swimming in those brushes. They've probably multiplied well into the millions by now. Ew, gross huh? Please, pick me!! If I win these brushed, I will gladly pitch the others, nubby powder brush included....

My blush brush is, well, unsanitary it's so old. I got it when Bath & Body works used to sell makeup in their stores (maybe they do again, haven't been there in awhile), when I was in high school. And I wasn't a senior either. Probably sophomore or junior. So that would be...10 YEARS OLD. Excuse me while I go throw it away right now. augustgirl01 (at) hotmail (dot) com
