Finally back!!! CVS 8/8

After a couple days off from shopping I'm back with a vengeance and giving cashiers a run for their money!!! Here's two transactions worth at CVS - I was informed at one of the CVS's I shop at that their new policy is to only allow 1 IP or (internet printable) coupon per transaction. The girl let me get away with two but it screwed up my whole transaction and I was not a happy girl!!!

Transaction 1:
  • 1 CVS foaming handsoap (used $2/1 CVS Skin Care printable)= FREE!
  • 2 Advil Childrens Pain Reliever ($5.79 ea) used two $1/1 and $2.50 off $10 in painrelievers -making it a profit of $-4.50!!! (*This is a monthly deal and you get $5.79 for up to two of them.)
  • 2 Cover Girl face products (7.99 ea) used B1G1 free coupon combined with B1G1 free sale (any double B1G1 coupon & sale combination results in both items being free at CVS.)= FREE!
  • 1 CVS Ibueproefin (sp?) This was $3.xx and I used my free item coupon (Scan your CVS card in August for a free item!))= FREE!
  • 1 Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpate ($2.99 with 2 ECB back) used $1/1 and $2/1 CRT!!! (That was an awesome one) = -$2.00 after ECB!

I seem to be missing this reciept right now but my total was about $7 - I paid with ECB and got back 2ECB Colgate & $11.58 ECB Advil !

Total profit of: $6.58!

Of course I lost some on my second transaction. I was all set to do the clean and clear deal with my printables so I had to totally drop all of that and attempt to fix it. Here's what I got:

Transaction 2:

  • 1 - CVS foaming handsoap (used $2/1 CVS Skin Care printable)= FREE!
  • 2 - Cover Girl face products (7.99 ea) used B1G1 free coupon combined with B1G1 free sale= FREE!
  • 4 - Boxes of Kleenex ($1.29 on sale B1G1) used $.50/3 coupon = 52 cents a box!
  • 2 - Dawn Botanicals (88 cents) used $1/2 = 38 cents ea!
  • Used $2 any $10 purchase

Total = $1.83 (used $2 ECB that was adjusted down.) No ECBs back :( !

4 gave me some sugar:

Nice job! You got me hooked on those CVS soaps. I get one every time I go in w/those skin care coupons. :-)

Grrrr that you can only use 1 IP per transaction! That's going to mess up all the deals! :(

the corporate printable coupon policy is one valid coupon per item, not per transaction. if you write CVS a quick email they can verify it for you and you can take it to the store with you! i keep a copy of the B1G1 sale with a B1G1 coupon corporate policy with me when i'm taking advantage of that kind of sale. no one tells baby she can't use her coupons!

ok that was a pretty obscure dirty dancing reference.....(no one puts baby in a corner).....sorry if that didn't make sense! i have to remember not everyone loves bad movies like i do!
